The Brina Story

It’s pleasantly warm in the house by the river. A fire crackling in the fireplace, and christmas
lights reflect off the stone walls. This house is home to the friendly cat Rezika, the shy gecko
Franny, and the bats that found their home in the basement. Every now and then, Willie the
duck comes to visit down the river to get his meal of worms.

Mommy and daddy recently brought little Brina to this house. Time stood still for a moment,
for all inhabitants. Rezika the cat cautiously sniffs at this new creature, Franny hides in her
little hole, from where she lazily observes what is going on.

Surrounded by the love and support of all the residents of the house by the river, little Brina
will slowly take her first steps into a rich, exciting world; her first steps into a life that is full of
wonderful, inspiring moments, but also worries, sorrows and pain. Nothing will be spared to
her, just as it is not to anyone else. However, with the help of those who love her, she will
learn that the shadowy, unfavorable sides of life will make her appreciate those most
beautiful moments all the more.
